Last chance for T.O.

One final chance for Terrell Owens.

The Cincinnati Bengals, who certainly love drama, have agreed to terms with veteran WR Terrell Owens. According to published reports, Owens will sign a 1-year deal that pays him $2 million; he will have the potential to make more money if he meets certain performance benchmarks. This will be T.O.’s fifth NFL team, following stops in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Dallas and Buffalo. More importantly, this appears to be the final curtain call for Owens; nearly two-thirds of the league publicly passed on an opportunity to sign him. More than likely, this is his final team and final chance to win that elusive championship ring.

This signing means that two of the NFL’s greatest showstoppers will be on the same field for 17 weeks: Owens and fellow WR Chad Ochocinco. No doubt they are already plotting end zone celebrations, not to mention a lucrative marketing deal. It is a given that both men will be completely and utterly out of control for the entire season.

The surprising aspect is that the Bengals are so willing to turn their locker room into a circus. While the constant drama will be great entertainment for the rest of us, it will surely destroy this professional sports team.

Just in case you aren’t up to date, let’s check out some classic moments that these two men have given us already. First up, let’s watch Terrell crying about Tony Romo.

Charming.

Next up, let’s check out Mr. Ochocino (formerly known as Chad Johnson) showing us all but his johnson during a leisurely run through a public park.

Cute, Chad. Cute.

And who could forget Owens grandstanding on the Dallas star years before he was a Cowboy.

Watch out “Days of our Lives,” there’s a new soap opera coming to Ohio — and it stars T.O. and Ochocinco. Fun, fun.
