It’s truly amazing that Democrats have done so little with so much. You would think that with a Democratic president and huge majorities in both chambers of Congress, that the party would be able to govern. Wrong. Time and again, this president and this Congress has watched a minority party obstruct everything, while Democrats keep trying to achieve “bipartisanship.” It’s pathetic and sad.
I’ve long felt that President Obama and the Congress should remember that they are in charge and they must govern. This means running around the GOP when necessary. Rachel Maddow drives this point home excellently in this commentary below. Do yourself a favor and watch the entire clip.
